So, I thought I was stoked to head to Costa Rica/the Pacific Coast of CR/this tropical paradise for an epic surf camp. Big waves, killer sunsets, and maybe even some surfing skills, you know? Well, let's just say it didn't quite go as planned. First off, my board decided to split like an overripe mango on day one. Talk about bad vibes! Then, I discovered that "surfing/riding waves/conquering the ocean" is way harder than it looks on YouTube. Turns out, I'm more of a sink-like-a-stone/beach bum/professional spectator when it comes to riding the waves.

I went to this place in gorgeous Costa Rica thinking it would be a total shredfest/paradise/dream come true, but let me tell you/say/warn you - it was more like a disaster/nightmare/complete mess. The waves were choppy/terrible/gnarly in the worst way, the instructors were like zombies, and the food was bland/made me sick/tasted like cardboard.

Seriously/ It was a total joke/an absolute nightmare/the kind of experience that makes you question everything. The rooms were tiny and dingy/filthy/like something out of a horror movie, the bathrooms were outrageous/disgusting/gross, and the whole place just felt creepy/run-down/abandoned.
